Anglophone Crisis: High Ranked Military (BIR) Man Killed In South West

A high rank military man in the name of Djongwe Wayang was shot by separatists in Buea on the 17th of February, 2019 in Buea the Capital city of the South West Region of Cameroon.

For the past two years there have been enormous lost of life at the war front in the anglophone regions of Cameroon. Captain Djongwe Wayang, 35 was shot dead by separatist fighters in Buea on Sunday morning.


The information was published today the 18th February, 2019 by the army spokesman who is also the chief of communication in the Cameroon's ministry of defense.
" I regret to announce the dead of my friend, brother Captain Djongwe Wayang, on mission with the Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR). RIP l'fort", writes colonel Didier Badjeck on his Facebook page.

The anglophone crisis already on its 30th Month have cost the lives of hundreds of military men, thousands of civilians and unknown number of separatist fighters.
Non governmental organizations estimates about half a million displaced persons both internal and external.

At the start of this sociopolitical crisis, there were simple sporadic manifestations and today the situation has boil down to an armed conflict. Many politicians call it today a civil war. Other have pin point on TV and social platforms that the only solution to the crisis is dialogue.
